It’s that time of the year again! A time most families spend together. In the past, people used to spend their Easter weekend partaking in egg-rolling competitions and such like!
We’re not saying that people don’t do this anymore, just that there are so many other options for fun Easter activities.
For the people of the Western Cape; we’ve done the hard work for you and put together our favourite list of cool Easter activities:
• Easter market at the Langebaan Town Hall
If you want to buy some handmade Easter gifts and immerse yourself in all things Eastery… head along to the West Coast this weekend and visit the Easter market in Langebaan.
Time: 09:00 am – 14:00 pm.
• Hunting eggs at la petite ferme
This Sunday, there is something for everyone at la Petite Ferme in Franschoek. You can enjoy the delicious a la carte, or tapas menu. This is all possible while your children are hunting for eggs in the beautiful garden. Make a reservation now!
Time: 12 pm – 3.30 pm.

• Stand-up comedian shows in Cape Town Comedy Club
Are you in for a good laugh during this long weekend? The Cape Town Comedy Club (based in V&A Waterfront) will present five hilarious shows during the Easter period. (Don’t miss the happy hour from 6pm – 7pm!)
Time: Show starts at 8.30, get there early for a nice dinner.
Costs: R120 p/p
• Picnic at Antonij Rupert Wine
Delight in the beautiful surroundings of Franschoek while enjoying a picnic on Easter Sunday. Plenty of space for the kids to play on the sprawling lawns while the adults sip on delicious vino!
Time: 12 pm
Price: Picnic baskets are 480R for adults, for children they are R60
• Easter Sunday buffet lunch at the Twelve Apostles hotel and spa
Live music, a view over the Atlantic ocean, wine and an amazing dinner…. Could you ask for anything more? Head down to the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town. Alternatively, enjoy a delish lunch while your kids are entertained on the very special Easter egg hunt!
Costs: R455 p/p for adults and R235 p/p for kids under the age of 12.
